I seriously think something wrong with me because am 21 and never had a boyfriend abd I know am not an ugly girl. Im confident about the way I look but at the same time I do find guys that talk to me but they are not my type usually they are ghetto and am preppy am not attracted to that style....I just think that something is wrong with me. Am I being too picky? Is it my fault? Cause am starting to get sick of being alone. I wa thinking of seeing an relationship counselor? Somebody please help? I don't know what's wrong with me. MuffinGirl agony auntNo, you're not too picky, maybe you just have better taste than your female friends. There's no reasons to be with guys which you don't like. Go out, talk with different guys than usual. If gheto is not your style, try with another types of men (and styles). There is so many guys on the world, you have a lot of choices. You don't have to be with somebody who doesn't suits you. Look around, there's so many interesting guys to be with. Find somebody who suits you, go out on disco, bars, concerts.. It's not so hard as you may think it is. Go out from your circle of people around you.

As somebody under me just said, never lower your standards and expecations, because it will never end good.

Enjoy life.

I didnt have "real boyfriend" until I was 23. Since then, they'll all over me like there's no tomorrow :)

So don't worry about, don't stress yourself and focus on your education so that the guys that count will be even more impressed.

Well how many guys who are your type do you meet?

If you aren't meeting many of them then you may not get to know them enough for them to like you.

Is style really that important? Can you not be with someone who likes different clothing to you?

Good Luck!! xx

Oh my gosh! Totally same problem!

Im 17 and im not ugly atall and have many guy friends but the guys who like me turn out to be right idiots!

My amazing male friend gave me some good advice the other day:

He said that tho it feels like no1 decent likes you alot of people do but are too scared to voice their attraction because they are scared of rejection. I reckon jsut keep going on being confident and happy and sooner enough u will find the guy who loves u! much love x

I don't think that you are picky it all. In these days and times more people need to have higher expectations out of their partners. Don't lower your standards just so you won't be alone. Everyone has someone out there for them...just be patient, all good things come to those who wait.
