 It doesn't sound like you have any problems with your vagina, go to the doctors and have a smear test, this will help and the nurse can check which will relieve you of any worries.
Its a routine check for women who are sexually active, so you dont even have to warn your nurse of your worries if you feel uncomfortable talking about it. If you are comfortable talking about your problems then go ahead and book yourself an appointment with a nurse, that is what they are there for.
It sounds more to me like you perhaps have a stonger hymen which is having difficultly to be broken via penetration. I suggest you try again and make sure your partner is slow and takes his time, everytime he attemps to enter, withdraw before penetrating further, this helps to break the hymen without causing so much pain and discomfort for you.

 MMmmm...well this is a bit of tough one to answer. Have you tried additional lubrication perhaps? Like KY, oil etc.? If you have and there's still no go, you might want to see an OB-GYN. Get a medical take on this issue. Your boyfriend might be a bit too large, and I dunno enough to say whether it's a hymen issue or something. But yes, get some proffessional medical advice if using added lubrication does not work.
