writes: I'm so confused! I think my teacher fancies me but I'm not sure. When I first started in his class, he was really nice and I figured that it must be because I knew about the subject before I started college (I was 21 at the time, I'm 23 now). The year after, I was really looking forward to going back to college 'cause I'd enjoyed being in his classes but he was really mean to me.. ignoring me when he saw me outside of class and going on about how bad my work was in front of the whole class. I've just taken a year out and every time I've seen him, he's insisted on hugging me and giving me a lift into town in his car. When I've been alone with him, we've had a real laugh and talked about so many things. I haven't talked to anyone like that in years! I feel really close to him. A couple of months ago, me and my mum went to the local theatre and we went to the bar after the performance. He was sat at the other end of the bar alone and, when he saw me, his eyes lit up and he looked over and smiled at me. I held his gaze for a couple of minutes and turned away but he kept looking and smiling. I turned back to look at him five minutes later and he was still looking and smiling at me. I even open up to him about stuff that's going on in my life which I don't with most people. My mates all reckon he fancies me but I'm useless at picking up the signs. Does he fancy me?? I really don't want to get this wrong and it be completely embarrassing but I do really like him and we're both over 18 so we wouldn't be doing anything wrong. Sorry, it's so long but I wanted to get in as much detail as poss so someone out there might be able to give me a pretty clear answer. Please help!!

Even though you're both over 18, ethically he shouldn't pursue you. He could get fired for dating a student.

It kinda sounds like he does or maybe it's just a case of favouritism - you're his favourite class member. But I'd say you keep looking out and if he makes ANY sort of move even a holding of hands then it could be dodgy. Any groping and there's your answer.
On the joking side though: I thought it was students who were s'posed to fancy their teachers!?
Hope this helped =]

This guy probably fantasizes about you and would love to have sex with you. He is NOT looking for a relationship, that's the honest truth. So I guess if you just want to be intimate with him he would probably be all about it. Don't think that you will date him though. Not going to happen.
