writes: Now I have a problem, I tried to follow you guys about ignoring the best friend of my boyfriend. And it worked! I'm not attracted anymore... I now treat him just like any other guy friends we have. Thank Goodness. But now, I think the "BESTFRIEND" of my boyfriend is falling for me... The BESDTFRIEND is showing signs that he's falling for me, and I'm 100% sure he is... I don't know what to do now. My boyfriend can sometimes feel it and he's always jealous. I'm afraid that their friendship is now hanging on balance. I don't want them to break their friendship because of me. I love my boyfriend and I know the bestfriend is a good friend for my boyfriend.I already tried talking to my boyfriend about that kind of thing. I told him that there's no need to worry about it. And I tried to recall their memorable moments together so his anger with his bestfriend would fade. But it's not working. What should I do???

reader, anonymous, writes (10 July 2007): Either you need to confront the bestfriend and tell him u and him will never work. Out of respect for his bestfriend(ur boyfriend) he should respect that and you. Or face the consequences of losing you has a friend and ur boyfriend. Or have your boyfriend confront him but guy on guy conversations might not be your best shot. But if they truly are bestfriends they should be able to talk to eachother and straighten things out. Him being a bestfriend to ur boyfriend should know that him trying to hit on you is totally offlimits. If he doesn't back off then he is not a good friend for your man.
