reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2007): Well, it's normal to have crushes and want relationships at your age {I'm female and 30, btw}, but I don't think you should tell your cousin how you feel.
To do so would probably cause you both a lot of embarrassment right now. You know you are underage, obviously; it would not be so much of an issue if you were, say, 22 and he was 30, but for him to return any sort of affections now, while you are still so very young, would, as you'll already know, be viewed as criminal.
For now, I am afraid all you can do is admire from afar! It's hard, I know, but there you go. It'll all be out there for you when you are older, I promise!
For now, you are very normal, honestly! Stop worrying.

wel this must be a really difficult time for you. if you think he feels the same way then you should talk to him. i no a couple who are cousins who are very happy together. check out whether or not you think your family may accept it. because you may end up sacrifising a lot for a whim.
