Sometimes he calls me dear and tells me he thinks I'm amazing, and I've never met anyone like him. But he lives in another country and I think I'm starting to fall in love with him and I don't know if he feels the same about me.

In June, he paid my way to visit him for a week...which wasn't nearly long enough but I had to get back to my job. By then we were definitely in Love. Infact I knew it before I ever saw him face to face. Of course we had seen pix of eachother, but it was more the things he said, his points of view, and how he took an interest in my thoughts, and opinions. We spent hours and hours on the phone. And emailing one another in between. In June he came here for 11 days and we had a wonderful time. We can't wait to be together again! We are planning a life together...it's taking longer than either one of us would like it to, but we want to do it right! He may be coming here in a month or so. Since he lives in a cold climate and I in a warm, he may even spend a month or so!
I was the one who first brought up the "L" word. Before we ever got together. One night after spending 6 hours on the phone, I sent him an email and asked him if he thought is was possible to fall in love with someone you have never met face to face. His reply was very practical and said the odds are probably against it, but perhaps it could happen...he quoted some off the top of his head statics, something like 20,000 to one! I laughed and told him I thought he was wrong. And guess what...He was wrong! The first night we were actually together he told me he loved me and asked me not to leave! Anything can happen and you never know if you don't take the risk!
I am happier than I have ever been in my life...and very much in love!
Talk to your guy, ask a suttle open-ended question like I did, see what he says. I doubt if you'll scare him away being you have been talking for so long.
Good Luck!

I think if he's taking the time to talk to a girl from a different country you must be pretty special!
You will need to talk to him to be certain! The only way you will be able to find out is if you talk to him!Tell him your developing romantic feelings for him. It's not coming on to hard nor is it saying I pay no interest in you.

Well, I met my boyfriend online. :)
We've been talking for almost 4 years now. We met for the first time on Halloween of 2008 and it was the most amazing experience of my life :)
I would ask him how he feels about you, see if he feels the same way! If he does, super! Make some plans for a trip to meet and see if the chemistry is the same in person as it is online.
After all these years of talking to my boyfriend, my heart still skips a beat knowing hes online and when he calls. :)
Good Luck!
