writes: I have a feeling i might be pregnant. I recently had unprotected sex - with my now ex-boyfriend - but he did not ejaculate inside me. I know that this is not a safe way of contraception, but it just happened and it is the only time it ever happened. It is almost 9 weeks since i last had a period, and i am really scared. My periods have always been irregular, but never this bad. I have taken 6 home pregnancy tests, all showed up negative, but i still can't help but worry. My friends have told me that worrying and stressing over it will not help the matter, but none of them have ever been in this situation. I cant talk to my family about it, because they don't know that i was having sex, and i would we disowned if they were to find out. My family don't believe in sex outside of marriage. My ex-boyfriend doesn't really care, i've said it to him, and i took one test while he was present and he didn't really care about the result, he just said i told you so. I can't go to the doctor, because i can't ask my parents for that kind of money.. I don't know what to do. Please help!

There are such a thing as false positive tests results. I know you said you can not go to the doctor but if there is a free clinic or the likes ? you really should go get a blood test done.
It is rare though to have that many false positives.
Good luck and I hope you aren't pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. If the home pregnancy tests consistently say you're not pregnant, well then you're not pregnant. You may have missed your period because you're worrying so much about it! You should just trust the tests and assume you're not pregnant. If you space the tests out over a few weeks and they still say negative then, well, it's negative. Also make sure you take the test first thing when you wake up.

Hi. If you have done six pregnancy test you can be 99.9% certain that you are NOT pregant. You are so stressed that your periods have stopped. Do 2 more tests, I bet they are negative too. Can you go to a hospitla and get one done? I can bet that your not though. :o) Also, maybe get rid of this guy - I mean, he has not even suported you or looked after you. If you do two more, and they are negative, then please you are not pregnant!!. - those tests are 99.9% accurate. I promise. :o) let me knwo how you get on. Nat Marie. xx

You say your periods are usually irregular so this might just be your cycle changing. Periods can come at any time. If you have taken home pregnancy tests and they have come back negative i wouldnt worry too much. Just keep an eye on any other signs and symptoms that could mean that you might be pregnant. If worst comes to worst then you will have to tell your parents. Hope all goes well for you.
