A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (2 April 2011):

Face up to it! - The girl's a cheating loser. You don't love her, you're just clinging to an image, this image of someone you thought you saw. You can't be in love with the real girl behind the image - she's totally worthless on so many levels.

Get to ditching her, and move on. There needs to be no room in your life for people like her, who are willing to happily hurt you. If you make room for people like her, then you become part of the problem. So you need to stop allowing her to treat you this way, and ditch her.

A female reader, Orbiter United Kingdom +, writes (2 April 2011):

Sorry but I'm going to be really honest with you here, she doesn't love you. She's clearly using you as a back-up for when her other relationships don't work out.

Sooner or later she will leave you for good when she finds someone else. It doesn't matter what you do, she'll leave either way.

It probably won't be easy for you but forget her and move on. There are much nicer girls out there. So keep working on you for a bit, get your life back on track and go and find one.
