Hi, I'm new to the site!

I recently dumped my boyfriend of 2 and a half years I'm finding it very difficult as I love him so much! We both agreed that we could do with some time apart and we are meeting in another month to see where things lie! We will either get back together or move on I guess!

The thing is I'm constantly worrying about him getting over me and he gives me no reassurance and won't talk about how he feels about things, he keeps it bottled up! Is this the first signs that he is getting over me and won't want to get back together?

It's only been four days so far! However he was real upset when it happened and when I say things like 'I need to get over this' or I get frustrated and mean and say things like 'I never want to talk to you again' he gets really weird with me! He won't give me any reassurance and sometimes seems as though he really doesn't care! Does he not want to get back together? *emzy* hurt and confused!

hlskitten agony auntHi

You havent said why you split really? There must of been a reason? If you keep splitting & getting back together its a waste of time really.

Maybe he wants to get out there a bit & not be settled down.

You havent given the reasons for the split so its hard to guage what he is thinking. If you're meeting in a month to talk, i would be extremely strong & not contact him at all. If you dont hear from him, you're better off knowing than being strung along because he hasnt got the bottle to say he wants out.

Keep some control.

sexi agony auntHi, if you are worried that he would get over you and you want to get back with him,tll him as soon as you can. Say to him that you have made a mistake and want to get back with him,you dont see yourself being apart from him and it reall hurts being away from him.Put your pride away and speak to him. Make sure you really want to be with him and you are not just scared of being alone, that is the reason yo want to get back with him.Speak to him and see what happens then.

Take care, mail me if you wanna talk

flower girl agony auntHe feels hurt and rejected, and probably does not want to open up to you about how he is feeling because he is scared of rejection.

You really need to decide what you want, maybe you will lose him but you should have little contact with him until you have worked out what you want, when you have you need to tell him how you feel and see how he feels about you.

It's quite often the way that you do not realise what you have got until it's gone, if you still love him though do not leave it too long before you let him know.

Take care.x..x

There is only one way to find out. DON'T CALL HIM!

And if, in time, he calls you then you know that he misses you and probably does want to get back together.
