A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My bf dumped me after he found out his best friend, who has a gf himself, had kissed me once at school when he wasn't around. My ex now says that his friend kissed me because he likes me but is just afraid to say so (besides kissing me, he had also hugged me all the time, leaned his head on my head, smiled at me, complimented, etc), since we were friends already anyway. When my ex's friend said he hadn't kissed me, he called my ex later the day and fessed it up (i guess from getting mad at me for telling, he lied to everyone, but then told my ex the truth when he was alone). Now everyone believes my ex's friend, and no one's supporting me and everyone dislikes me very much. I would like to go out with my ex's friend (he even encourages it!), but he seems to want me to leave him alone. I'm in a really bad situation (even one of my ex's friends recently laughed at my face, and I was about to cry). I also wanted to tell my ex's friend's gf the truth to get him back, but I don't want to be cruel. What should I do?? Please please help, it's destroying my life!!!

It's me again. I wanted to add that today I stopped my ex best friend and apologized about what happened, that i broke up the friendship of him and my ex, and he didn't seem to care. He just said "W/e, it doesn't matter". I told him thnx for the kiss, but he just shrugged. I stopped right then and walked away, cuz I didn't want to feel like stalker, and alot of people already know i like him. I think he didn't say much cuz he's afraid people will overhear like they kind of did before. My ex gave me his cell number, so I called him and heard him say "hello?" but hung up cuz im too scared he'll talk about it the next day, so I decided now to call him on friday since it will then be awhile before we go back to school. Can i do this to talk it out? Or should I just not be around him and completely ignore him for a while until he comes to me himself or breaks up with his gf (though i have no clue of how i would figure that out)?

not exactly. first of all, my ex's friend said he wanted to kiss me anyway. It was a friend thing that I thought wont hurt just once. besides, my ex said that i should have immidiately told him once it happened, so it's not all my fault.

and my ex's friend and i can still talk, i didn't completely loose him. im trying to figure things out with him. he also said that he would kiss me more if i wanted to, but wont if i dont.

sexi agony auntHi

Why are you allowing your exs friend to kiss you and carry on with? Your behaviour was not appropriate and now through that you lost your bf. If you didnt want to be with him then you should have just told him you should have cheated on him with his friend. Now you have lost your bf and his friend seeing that you were playing with fire. I dont think you should go after your exs friend as he is not willing to do the same. I think you should try and put this behind you. You hurt hurt both your bf and his friend and i think you should leave it alone.

Regards, mail me if you wanna talk

superhoopschick agony auntWell, first..never date your friends friend no matter how much you are in love with them because you will ruin your life in the end. It sounds like you are now single, but you feel attatched. Take a minute to breathe and figure out what you want and who you like the most with your heart, not by what other people say. also do not do revenge and talk to others girlfriends..just leave the situation alone. Because you will be in trouble and people will talk bad about you. try to look towards a new relationship with someone else..but if you are holding on, it will hurt.

just to let you know i've been in this situation before so that how i know..and ending up in the hospital was my result so..do what you feel your heart needs and those that love you will support you.

KeRrI117 agony aunthiya sweetie,

if you tell his gf it could just make things worse than they are. If you want to get with your ex's best friend then maybe you and him could walk home from school together on your own and if he starts a conversation with you just talk and then just ask him if he likes you i know its not easy but if he kissed you he must have feelings for you.
