He said he wants us to get into a relationship but I told him I have a boyfriend already. He also said having a bf does not matter. That I could still change my mind. The problem now is how do I end the relationship with my current boyfriend without hurting him so much. I really love this new guy. He stays very close to my hostel and that makes it easy for both of us to hang around often. Please any advice on how to end this present relationship will be appreciated. By that short answer, I'm assuming our responses weren't what you wanted to hear and that you're likely to go ahead with your plan anyway?
Honestly, if thinking with your head (and your heart, in terms of being sympathetic to other people's feelings), what would be the way to go forward?

You don't "love" this new guy; he seems easier to be with, that's all (from what you've said).
I think you should tell your boyfriend that it's not working any more, then stay single for 3+ months (to be independent) and consider the new guy *afterwards*.
