 It's highly unlikely that she would fancy both of you...if she likes either one of you at all!!! If she does like one of you then, this you have no control over which of you she likes. You have a 50% chance that she may like you, explain to your friend how much you like her. It's not a competetion it is a human being with feelings your talkng about here (the girl). Just be honest with your friend and say that you were thinking of asking her out sometime!!

i was in the same position as your friend once, i was absolutly crazy about a girl, then like a punch in the face, my best friend started dating her.not only were my feelings for her shattered, but i began to question my 'best' friendship, months on, with the girl long gone, we both look back with a little regret, we both wish to god that he would have spoken to me before hand.talk to him, or you'll wish you had.
