writes: This started this year, IV known him for like my whole life. He is one year older then me. I have no clue what to do I rally want to tell him how I feel but I don’t know how. He comes over to my house all the time and sleeps over. He is so nice to me, whenever I’m around him I feel so happy like nothing could be better. But if I told him I honestly think he would ignore me forever or think I’m kidding around. IV never had a boyfriend before and I don’t know what to do con someone please help me?

Pretty much any way that you say it will get the point across, he will understand, boys dont normally think you're kidding like that. I would just advise that you not go overboard with telling him how you feel. Start small, try "Hey, do you wanna go out to the movies or something? just the two of us?" Try not to outright say that you have a crush on him or that you "feel so happy like nothing could be better". It tends to freak out any boy, even If they feel the same way.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2008): This is a hard decision to make!If you tell him,he might not take you seriously or never talk to you again.But if you dont,you are in an endless circle of despair,with a hundred questions in your head,all wondering if he really feels the same.This will drive you crazy.This will lower your self esteem with the questions of 'Why doesnt he like me?'No one wants to feel that way.So put an end to it.Tell him god-dammit!Get him on his own and gently tell him you have feelings for him.But also say that its okay if he doesnt feel the same way.At least that will get your feelings across.Also tell him that you dont want any awkwardness between you and that you dont want your friendship to be lost.If he says he likes you to then,yay!But if not,you can start to get over him.If he freaks out and wont speak to you,tell him to cop on and get a grip and if you were real friends youd be able to talk properly.Also tell him that he doesnt have to make a decision right away.Suggest you spends some time apart so when you see each other the awkwardness should be gone.Tell him you dont want him to tell anyone about what you said and that its strictly between the two of you.That is if he says no.If he does say no,youll no where you stand and you can go back eventually to being friends.By giving him time to think about you and him,he might realise 'What have I got to lose by going out with her?'Hopefully this advice will help you.Good Luck.
