Okay so there's this boy named Michael, and I've liked him since August. I stopped liking him for like a week or so. My friends do not like him. I mean they hate his guts! So I really cant talk about him around them. Well now I'm falling for him again. I dont think I love him, but I really like him. I went to his football games. I now go to his basketball games, and I just really like him. The only problem is, I dont think I'm his type. He hangs out with really pretty skinny girls, and I'm not exactly that lol.

What do you think I should do? Do you think I'm in love?

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (3 December 2009):

I don't think your in love, I think you have a crush. Perhaps he's a bad boy and looks exciting? Type has nothing to do with it really. What is important here is that your friends are warning you there is something wrong. Perhaps it's a player and you can't see that because you fancy him. I think before you do anything, you need to ask your friends why they feel the way they do, just to be safe.

As for him, you could always try speaking to him and seeing where it leads. I'm sure he'll talk to you.
