writes:well i've liked (practically loved)this lad for about 3 years, recently he broke up with his girlfriend and i wanted to try and get with him.There is 2 problems though - one he is nearly 5 years older than me and second he is my brothers mate!I like him so much but i don't know if he likes me, one of my friends know him very well and they asked him when he was still with his girlfriend and he said that he found me attractive but he doesn't like the age gap or the fact that my brother is his friend.i've talked to him a little bit but other people were with us and it was kind of a group thing - instead of a proper conversation.i'm so scared of making the first move incase he rejects me because i have liked him for so long.What should i do?And how should i do it?how will i know if he likes me?

Honestly i am not trying to be a mean person but i just want whats best for you and not see or hear anyone get in trouble but if i was you i would just be friends because you are either 16 or 17 and he is 5 yrs older then you and you can get him in so much trouble if you are 18yrs or older you may not date anyone younger, if you was 17 it may slide for a 18 yr old to date you but over that, you can get this guy into trouble so just be friends with him..dont make no moves on this guy, and if you feel that you want to take a chance with this guy talk to your brother and see what he thinks about this so you dont make him mad....well i hope i helped
