I will call him XSo X and i broke up in june last year...8 months later after a different girlfriend, he came back begging for me to take him back that he made the wrong decision, couldn't imagine life without me, made the worst mistake ever, he tried forgetting me and he found himself still in love with me. saw each other for a few months and after he had proved he was serious and i trusted him again...we went back out for 2 weeks before he dumped me over text because my drunken words had hurt him. now in that previous 8 months i had met Y and we had a 'thing' if you'll call it that. then X came back on the scene and because i had never stopped loving him...i took him back. now X has dumped me, Y still really likes me and he's amazing and i still have feelings for him...but X is just ignoring me and not telling me how he feels...so im not sure what to do about Y !!!! help please anyone im desperate here. any comments are soo appreciated! xoxo

Wow, i have just been through this exact same situation!!
Here's how mine panned out, I binned off X for good because he decided to stay with the girl who cheated on him with 2 other guys, so i just left him to get on with it!!
And now i have potentially found my Y, and i couldn't be happier!!! X is your ex for a reason, leave him behind. If Y is so amazing, then there's no contest really...stick with Y!!!
Best of luck hun :)

It is very obvious that this X of a guy is not compatible with you and that is why he treats you as he wants. Or do you want to get married to somebody that will give you a heart attack? I think this guy does not worth you. Get him out of your mind and move on with your new relationship. Let him remain your ex and nothing more! Goodluck.

If he dumps you so easily how much does he care? Ask him this question. It's possible he can't find anyone else or that he thinks/knows he can always come back, however he treats you. Men are like children - you have to teach them how to behave.

Imagine that something above yourself, not god, but time itself provided you with Y because it knew that you were going to end up happy.Time and fate wants you to choose Y. But on the other hand time provided you with X. but it didnt work out. how do we know that time doesnt want to teach you a little more about relationships before it throws you mr right.so i guess it doesnt matter who you choose. they are both right in some way.. let your body tell you which to go for.Personally I would go with someone new because relationships are not the same the second time around and it will end at some point so im more inclined to go with the new person rather than the x.What to do with Y if you choose x?Just tell him straight and then if you need to contact him again your in a stronger position to persuade him back if it goes tits up
