writes:please give some pieces of advice....my problem goes this way..i am an ESL teacher for more than a year. i told myself before not to fall inlove with any of my students. but after a year i met a new student who comes from Osaka Japan, he had been my student for two months and within that two months i learned to love him. i didnt tell him that i love him until he went back to Japan. i was so sad the day he left me. i really love him. i want to see him again. another problem is that we are both males. what should i do? please help me.....  How old is your ex student? I have to ask, sorry! If he's of similar age to you, and now an ex student, I'd say there would be no problem in explaining how you feel.Do you think that the attraction is one sided? Has he ever insinuated that he's interested too? Maybe email him now and then and try to get an idea of how he feels?If on the other hand, there's a substantial age difference, meaning that's he's very young, I'd tell you to walk away..Can you give me some more information about him?
