I've tried a thrush treatment but it hasn't had any effect, i have also had thrush before and that was very itchy and this isn't. I have also been having intense anal itching, i don't know if they are linked or not. I have taken pinworm tablets but they have also had no effect. Any ideas?

Check with a doctor, but sounds like you have a yeast infection. There are different kinds of those and they can be treated, but with the 'right' meds. check with the doc is your best advice.

Don't try to diagnose it yourself and you dont really want to be taking pills for things you don't have. Call your doctor and make an appointment, i'm not gonna say its probably nothing because if its itching so bad there's something going on down there and it needs to be treated but it'll be easy enough to treat when you know what it is. It'll take up a lot of time and money if you're just guessing or taking meds for every possible thing it could be.

Im not a Doctor but it could be a yeast infection and if there is a fishy smell it could be Bacterial Vaginosis. Instead of spending money on over the counter things u dont think can work or will???? Go to the local health clinic if u have no insurace and they will diagnose what it is, becareful not to use any home made stuff that can irritate u. U can look up ur local health department by a google search or your county and they see ppl that dont have health insurance.

There are SO many different things that it could be! You need to go to your Doctor and have a physical exam and a few tests to put it right. A vaginal infection isn't something that you should take lightly, it's important to clear it up incase it leads to further infections or illness. Get on the phone and make that appointment, hope you are feeling better soon!
