That is really a good question for your gynecologist. I'm pretty sure that she or he will have some opinion on its safety and efficacy for lube and for conceiving. I googled it and see that it is a folk remedy for getting pregnant. But honestly, I'd worry about the risk of bacteria and what an infection could do to your innards. Ask your doctor.

Is valleyplayer being serious???? 'If God wanted you to have a child........ This statement is stupid. Is this same God who 'Let' people have a beautiful baby only for them to harm it and damage it until the poor little life is over?

of my understanding you are talking about the shells of an egg, right? maybe its just me but that seems like it wouldnt be pleasurable nor would it help your fertality your best bet is to just stick to the natural if god wanted you to have a child you would of already had one

If you need lube, I recommend KY personal lube (I can't stand the warming, personally). If you need help getting pregnant, ask a doctor.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 March 2009): Somewhat unconnected to the question but in answer to all the doubting aunts, my baby girl, a day or two after being born had a terrible wee rash around her little private area and a liberal dose of egg white was administered daily by the nurse, being 'painted' on. This succeeded in clearing up the rash pronto. So there!

As a general rule of thumb, I recommend you keep food away from the va-jay-jay. You're just asking for all sorts of infections, especially when using foods that can be harmful if raw, like eggs.
