The road to where we are today wasnt easy, he had to fight to prove to my family that he was worth my time and attention, stood by me during a long and horrible custody case, took the higher ground when dealing with my ex, relocated his job for me and my son and most recently has been my biggest supporter with helping deal, with my son who was recently diagnosis with Autism and ADD. We have never celebrated Father's Day with him as a "father". this year will we be and I want to show him how much we appreciate everything he has done for us. Any tips or ideas on how we can make this weekend special for him would be great

Father's Day is a special time to honor and celebrate fatherhood. There are many unique ways to show the wonderful father in your life just how much he is appreciated. For example, Real Simple .com has many ideas to help express gratitude to father's.
Happy Father Day!

Hi KG,
Does he like anything like paint-balling or go cart racing? Those are really fun and can be enjoyed by all the family.
Or something as simple as an honest home cooked meal, if you put the time and effort in, even just adding candles or a new table cloth can make a huge difference.
