Call me a prude but he should stop telling his friends that he whacks off too. That is something that should be kept private. Where were his parental units when it was time to talk about the birds and the bees? About seeking professional help, don't think his situation merits it, unless he has reached a point where he is out of control and doing it in public places. As far as being withdrawn, that doesn’t sound to me to have anything to do with porn and masturbation. Then again, you guys sound to me to be young and just stepping out into the real world so screw advise, don’t over think things and have a good time. There is no medical evidence to suggest that regular masterbation will lower sperm count. Indeed, in Europe masterbation is seen as very healthy, it protects against stress and has many medical benefits... your friend needs to get some sensible advice.... Masturbation dose NOT lower sperm count, make you turn into a woman, make you unable to have children, make your balls drop off, stop you from having sex with a woman etc.....
