writes: There's a guy that i really like at my college. the only problem is that i don't know his name or anything about him! i am really shy and find it hard to make eye contact, but have wanted to get to know him more for about a year, and i really want to find out if he is gay and then make the next move before i leave college.i have made very brief eye contact with him once and he sort of looked me up and down (it looked that way our of the corner of my eye). he hangs around with girls mostly and has more confidence than me.the problem is that i haveno idea what i should do. he is friends with a girl i sort of know. is there any body language that i can use to get things started? is there anything i can look out for to see if he is gay?what shall i do?thanks

If you know one of his friends why not ask her about him, get some background info on him, there is a saying in my line of work: "Time spent in reconnaissance is seldom wasted!" find out as much as you can about this guy (not to the point of stalking) then you will know his sexual orientation, if he's single and what he's into, vital information for you to plan your attack (sorry next move)

ask the girl you both know stuff about him and then after a couple of days ask if you think he would be interested in you, if she doesnt know your gay its a big shot in the dark really, just go for it if your really interested, just pull him up in the corridor or something like that? just not the toilets, otherwise he'd think ur a complete pervert lol x
