We usually spend all of our time at her house, watching movies. Which is great in one respect, because it's a much more intimate setting, but even just for the sake of something different, I'd like to take her some place that'll surprise her, or maybe find a nice new place where we can be alone and have a lot of fun. She's perfectly content just spending time with me, no matter the setting--as am I--but I'd like to do something more that will surprise her. One thing to note is that she is not a big talker. A date where we are actively involved in something would be awesome. So far, I've taken her to dinner, the zoo, and the theater. She hasn't spoken much at any of those places. She's a very responsive girl, more so than headstrong. Which then leaves it up to me to be the forward one, which I am totally cool with, but I'm fresh out of ideas when it comes to dates. Any advice anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. Reply to this Question Share |

The Village Vagrant is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWow, lots of great suggestions already! I love the Asian Hibachi restaurant idea, as well as the ice skating, coffee shop, and pottery ideas. Only, not sure if the pottery one is as practical for the area I live in. I could be wrong. lol
She's a big coffee lover, so a coffee shop could be a great place to hang out with her some time.
Thanks for the suggestions! If you will, keep them coming. I can always queue up dates. lol

Even somewhere differant like a nice japanese place with the chefs cooking the food in front of you, it is differant and may get her to talk a little bit more as well

what about go-karting? its active and also gets your talking - well should! ice-skating is also great, she may need help which means holding hands and if you fall over its funny and gets you talking!
