Seen any interesting movies lately? Call her about that. Ditto for interesting books/whatever. Mebbe the movie convo could lead into a date tho. Good luck, call her!

Well depending on how you two are when hanging out and talking at school (if she seems interested in you), I would ask her if she wants to hang out sometime (see a movie, dinner, maybe an upcoming school sporting/social event, etc.) If you dont want to be that bold yet then maybe even wait until you do have homework or something. That would be a good way to break the ice between you and her before asking her something like that. Plus just becuase you just got her number doesnt mean that you have to call her right away. I've screwed up several possibilities becuase I acted too eager when getting a phone number. So just go at whatever pace you feel is confortable to you. If you are feeling too nervous to call then wait until your not nervous.

Totally call her.You don't need to make small talk about weather. If you want to take her on a date just say, "hey its .... here, lets...." and then don't necessarily worry about small talk.Presumably you will talk on the date. I would imagine if she has given you her number she is keen.Girls like confidence. Make sure you have a definite plan for the date and tell her it..e.g this movie at where and when and where you should meet.And in general, at the date just aske her questions about her opinions on stuff. Generally they like to do all the talking.
