And I definately was not pregnant. Others it comes 2 often like once a fortnight. Either way they are never usually on time. So I don't know when they are to be expected. Me and my boyfriend have tried for a baby. Nothing has worked. We dont really hav sex that often but I do try to pin point my ovulation which is difficult in which to do so. We have tred doing it atall and still nothing. I dont really want to go to the doctors. Is there a way of knowing if i cant have children. Any signs to show infrtility?

I am having fertility treatment at the moment. Some treatments are free on the NHS, while others you have to pay for. The reality is that you need to see a doctor and have a blood test. Home testing kits are not really suited - you need a comprehensive range of tests. It could be that you have a medical condition like polycystic ovaries (which is why I need fertility treatment), or another hormone imbalance. These things can be treated and you should not be worried. If I managed to have a baby with a range of medical conditions that interfere with fertility then almost anyone can! However, it wouldn't harm to see a doctor and find out why your cycles are irregular. It is very important for your health to have regular periods. If you don't then a doctor can prescribe medication to make them happen. If you don't have periods, the lining of the womb can build and build into a condition called endometrial hyperplasia (a cancer risk). It is also important that the lining is healthy for a baby to develop in (another reason to have regular periods - induced or natural). If you are trying for a baby with an irregular cycle then you can buy ovulation tests cheaply on the internet that will help you to chart your progress. They look for a surge in a specific hormone which is associated with ovulation. I have found these very helpful. Doctors can prescribe clomid citrate to encourage ovulation to happen, or give you injections. Your partner also needs to be checked for sperm count, but a doctor will discuss all this with you - make an appointment!

You need to see your doctor about this. There's no other choice, and see sooner you see a doctor about it the better, that way you can get help faster. If you do have difficulties conceiving you will still need extra time to fall pregnant, even with medical help.

The only way to get the answers is to see a doctor, you may need to see several. If you dont want to see a doctor you dont really want the answers. Its your choice!

Though in the end i did see a Doctor. A hormone test showed i had higher levels than normal for one hormone. But in the end he said it would settle down and it did. Later, months after I married, when i wanted to get pregnant, my husband and i were thrilled to find i was pregnant, just one month
after stopping the contraceptive pill.
Go to the Doctor, but i think you are
probably fine.

I know you say you don't want to go the doctors, but that's the only way you'll know for sure if you can have kids or not.
To me it sounds like you may have a hormone imbalance, which, if i'm not mistaken, is the most common cause for irregular periods (if they've never been regular in the first place). Irregular periods can make it a lot more difficult to conceive as you never know when you are most fertile, but that doesn't always mean that you can't get pregnant at all. Your best bet is to go to the doctors and have yourself tested. That way you can rest your mind in either finding out that you are fertile, or if you are not you can decide on the next step, i.e trying IVF or maybe considering adoption.
