It began with me talking to him just as a friend, and eventually, we started talking more. We were going out for about 6 months, and then he got reallllyyy high one night and decided it would be hilarious to tell me he cheated on me over spring break with 3 different girls, about 16 different times, then break up with me.We stopped talking for about.. 7 months. It's been a good to years from start to now, in case you didn't know. I still love him, despite everything.Anyways, he calls me and we start talking on a regular basis. He tells me about how sorry and how stupid he was. He tells me that he has been cheated on for the first time, and knows what it's like now and how much it hurts. Of course, being a forgiving person, I forgave him.A month or so after talking to him, we start going out. The thing is, he's an asshole. He's always verbally abusive, but then goes "I was just kidding baby, I love you." But you know, that kind of thing doesn't just go in one ear and out the other. He came over and was extremely obnoxious and annoying. He was very pushy about having sex, and wanted to wrestle all the time. Depsite all of this, he claims to be in love with me, and at times, it's believeable. Andddd about a week after he left, two days ago. I broke up with him.No on in my family likes him be cause of the way he has treated me in the past, and treats me now. No one really understands the situation im in, so i'll put it simply;I love a guy who is an extreme jerk.Even through all of this, I want to be with him.My question is, should I go back to him, or just let this feeling run its course and move on?

No, don't go back. He's using you, he's hurting you and abusing you. Don't ever put up with this. Get rid of him and find someone better! There are far better guys out there.
