I'm moving soon, and I like my best friend. I want to tell him, but I don't know how he'll react and I don't want to ruin our relationship. People tease us about it, so I'm sure he knows that I like him. Should I tell him before I move or just write him a letter and give it to him the last time I see him?

problemmaganet agony auntHey guys...

I told him a few days ago, and he turned me down in a really nice way. He was cool about it, and he is still my best friend. Thanks for your advice, I'm glad I told him how I felt.

JustMex agony auntQuestion: Why did you leave it until you're moving to tell him?

I know that can't be changed now, and maybe it's better to tell him now than always be wondering 'what if', but if you tell him, how will it change things? You're still going to move, and at your age a LDR would be very hard. If you want to tell him how you feel to finally 'get it off your chest' then do so, but be aware of how things might change between you two. I think the only positive I can think of the situation, if he doesn't like you back, is that you'll be away from him so you'll have time to get over him and still remain friends through email or phone. I think the best way would be by letter, if you can't tell him to his face. Good luck with your decision, and with the move!
