 I think you should keep it all light hearted, you are still very young to be thinking along these lines. Your best bet would be to befriend him, just go up to him and talk to him. Ask him what he is doing at the weekend, or if he had a nice weekend, then take it from there. Make yourself fun to be around, lots of smiles, and he will probably want to talk to you again.

Enjoy your youth, and why do you want to get into this heavy stuff just yet. If you must, then go up and ask him out, maybe down to the coffee shop on a saturday. But i think you are too young.

 Okay, so, you like him.. do you talk to him? Does he seem to get on with you? Try spending time with him, get to know him and see how it works out.
OR you could go for the blunt approach and just tell him.. but sometimes that creates sticky situations..
If not, you're young, you have plenty of time!
