Hey I am a senior in high school and im 17. I like a guy who just turned 15 so im over 2 years older. Im more worried about the age difference for his sake because i can deal with what people say, but i dont know how it would affect him. I think he likes me too but the age difference keeps holding me back. Any advice, tips, suggestions, etc...?

There is a 4 year age difference between my boyfriend and I, him being 17. We've never found this to be a problem, although other people have been sceptical - and he seems to have gained a lot of kudos from mates for dating an older girl!

Give it a try - if it works then great! ^_^~

kenny agony auntPersonally i don't think that two years is that big an age gap really. At the end of the day age is only a number, its how you both feel about one another is what matters. ANd it does not matter what anyone else thinks, only what you both think. Go for it and forget about the 2 year gap, when you 20 and he is 18 it will hardly be noticable.

All the best x

angelblueeyes agony auntHi

I know this is the other way round but i was just 16 when i met my husband and he was 18 but we have got on ok I don't think age should hold you back if you are keen on each other who cares what other people say about it, its your life at the end of the day if you can handle the age differance then what does it matter to other people if your/his friends are nasty to you both then they are not very good friends are they?

All the best in your dilema.
