 Hey, I would like to disagree with Baby Girl in a few aspects. From a guy's point of view (age 14), I personally don't see any time when boys are mean when they like you except on very rare occasions, which this might be. They usually do this because they are really nervous or shy that you might figure out that they like you, and are set on trying to make you believe otherwise. Also, it would mean a lot more to your crush heard it from YOU that you like him, rather than from a friend, as he may think that the friend is just lying to find out whether or not he likes you, so i advise doing it yourself, and if it seems too scary to do in person (which from personal experience, it is a lot of the time) then tell him on myspace, facebook, msn, AIM, etc.

Is this guy still mean to you now? Because when you're younger boys are mean to you when they like you sometimes (I have no idea why.) Did he ever play fight with you e.g push your or walk into you? That's their way of trying to make contact with you.
I am in a really similar position to you. I told the boy I like that I had a crush on him a few weeks ago, and when I think of him still not knowing how I feel, it's like wow! And I'm so glad he knows. He doesn't feel the same, but hey.
I think instead of asking him if he likes you, you should tell him that you like him, or get one of your friends to do it (It's not as scary!)If he feels the same than great, if he doesn't oh well, at least you tried, and you won't regret that you didn't tell him and there are other guys in the world.
