But, I am having trouble with this because I am still 100% crushing on my teacher! I cannot stop this! I've gotten to know my teacher over the last 5 months and he is just amazing. I am trying so hard to distract myself from my teacher (and prevent myself from making a mistake), but I just can't force feelings for this boy. What should I do? Should I try to see if feelings will develop for the guy my age (we're both 17)? I just can't get over my teacher! Help!

You are better off finding someone closer to your own age but it may not be this other guy you speak of. There would be no harm if seeing if any feelings come out of it but if your going into this with no feelings for him then maybe he isn't right for you. Its ok to cruch on your teacher, it happens to alot of people but there is almost no chance that anything will come out of that although on a very rare occasion it does. Also i don't think the teacher would return the feelings since you are a student to him. There are so many guys around your age, there is someone else who must have caught your interest in your grade or in your shcool.
