writes: Dear Cupid, I have done the worst thing possible.I've never felt so low.I lied and told some sixth-graders that my crush and I were going out and jokingly advertised my mood ring as our wedding ring. Well, one of my best friends told my crush everything I said, and he got mad and confronted me about it,telling me to keep his name out of my mouth and that he was sick of me. The next day,he ended our friendship at my locker.I was heartbroken and spent the beginning of third period crying about it.Then the day after that,he called me a b-i-t-c-h and an a-s-s.He avoided me and still won't talk to me. I just feel so terrible about lying.I regret what I said, and I really miss him.Do you think there's any way I can get him back?PLEASE help me!This hurts so bad,and like i said,I REALLY,REALLY miss him!Sarah

Oh dear. I think we have all told a little white lie sometimes to either take the pressure off or seem popular. I think your crush over-reacted a little but I can see that he was probably embarrassed. Confide in your mates and tell them it was wishful thinking. Perhaps you can slip your guy a note and tell him you are sorry but you think he is a real hunk. I know it's a cliche, but time really is a great healer.

he sounds like a loser - why do you like him anyway? just ignore him back - men always want what they cant have so act like your not bothered and say you were just joking and you wouldnt go out with him anyway.
