writes:hey, I like this boy, ive just turned 16 and he's just turned 18 in january. i really like him and think about him lots. He has told everyone he likes me, but hasnt got the nerve to tell me yet. he says he has liked me since just before christmas. He knows that i like him but still has it in his head that i like other people. He is a little shy when it comes to relationships, but when we are together we are just natural together. how can i get him to tell me, we have been in this situation for ages, i just want to be with him. any ideas on how i can get im to tell me and just be with him?

 He is just shy and unsure of himself....just give him time, he will come around! Invite him to your house for dinner that you cooked. As the saying goes.."THE WAY TO A MAN'S HEART IS THROUGH HIS STOMACH". That is so true!
Just be patient with him and show him that you care by your actions...that you only care for him!

 when i met my misses she knew i liked her but i did'nt have the guts to do anything about it, until she came up to me one day and planted me with 1 big kiss and the rest is history!
not saying you should do that but what i am saying is that sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns if you know what im sayin!

reader, anonymous, writes (24 March 2007): well.. its good that you know he likes you cuz that means you have less to worry about. anyways, it seems like this guy is verrry shy and if you've waited long enough - you have to be the one to ask him yourself. its all about timing. timing and place. for example, don't do it at school - where there are too many people around and you don't wanna make it awkward. why not wait for a party where you know he'll be at, and ask him to take a walk with you or something? that way, he'll be more himself and relaxed and he'll get to see another side of you other than school.
