I met a guy through a dating website and we have been talking for almost two months. We have seen each other several times and have kissed. He calls me at least twice a day and text. When we are together we plan our next meeting. The problem: I am no longer on the dating website but he has been getting online because I see his status and it says ONLINE or active within the hour and this is really worrying me!! HELP!! I know he is interested in me or he would not be calling me!!

Ask him if you are in an exclusive relationship. You need to clear up that piont as you could grow to have serious feelings for him, while hes still out there dating other women. Disaster!! So check with him and find out whats going on.

AuntyEm agony auntI would ask him. He may not be seeing your liason as a serious relationship and could still be dipping his toe in the water to see if someone better comes along. He could be maintaining friendships he's already made until he knows how things work out with you.

I would say that after two months and several meetings he must have some idea if he wants to give things a go with you. Don't let too much time pass before you ask him whats happening. Perhaps slow things down a little so you can really give him the chance to state what his intentions are., but don't ignore the warning signs just to keep things going.

You may feel differently but if it were me, I'd ask, and if he gave me a 'vague' answer, I'd be walking.

The danger with the internet is that it sparks a massive amount of semi-liasons that people read too much into before the relationship has had a chance to develop. For a lot of people, it's like a candy store...potentially there could always be someone better with the next click of the mouse button and people end up getting hurt because they are picked up and then dumped soon after.

Women suffer more because they vastly outnumber men on these sites. I think the ratio is like 10 women to every bloke, so the competition is tough. I always think you have to have very thick skin to survive it.

If he cant be exclusive at this point or at least give you a decent chance without speaking to other women, then it's probably best to dump him.

Best of luck
