cheating- the meaning of this really comes down to personal opinion and its somthing that if you are in a relationship, you should talk about to your bf/gf with about hwat you define cheating as. some would say flirting is a form of cheating, kissing, hugging, sex etc.
affair- same as cheating basicaly. but i think its more so used in relation to married couples.
rebound- this is where you have just came out of a relationship and you are not ready to start another one, but you do start a new one.
These relationships have a low chance of working out because there are some major issues in the relationship and with the people themselves. However depending on the situation in particular, they can be worked out, but often couples find it too hard to overcome because the trust is broken. Cheating creates many insecurities in someone and in a relatonship, its something that once has been done, its hard to ever have faith in the relationship and perhaps even in yourself again.

They are all similar in the way that you're not in the right frame of mind to be doing them.
Thats why they are pretty high risk to fail.

If you are cheating: you are usually in a relationship where the tewo of you have been together for a long time and things start to get old or you just find yourself wanting something else. Also an affair!
A rebound is while being on a break or after breaking up. It is very immature.

cheating - doing anything like kissing anything sexual with someone else whilst ina relationship.
Rebound- Finishing with someone then jumpin into bed with the next person u see to try and forget about ur ex.
Affair - Is cheating just the word affair is used instead of cheating for married couples
They dont have much chance in workin out because by doing these things whilst in a relationships tend to make the innocent partner lose trust for the guilty partner and in my opinion u cant have a relationship without trust.

well cheating is when you are in a relationship with someone and you sleep, kiss or do something of this nature with another person.
A rebound is when you break up or have been broken up with someone and you go out with someone else in a short amount of time.Usually to dull the pain of the last relationship.
An affair is similar to cheating though in my opinion is usually done in marriage, but thats up to opinion. But overall is the same as cheating.
These relationships have low proberbility of working out as they are never right.
When you rebound your not in the right state of mind and are just looking to not be alone or forget your ex.
Cheating/Affair dont work because you have to be underhanded and they are wrong andin the end the lies and hur catch up to you.
