Currently, I am using Bobbi Brown alabaster which comes closer to the shade of my skin tone than any other foundation color. Here are two other very fair foundation colors that I have come across: very light ivory from Shiseido and My fair lady from Colorescience.I think it is better to find a foundation color that is closest to your skin tone than using a darker shade because it usually contrast too much with the color of your neck and doesn't look natural regardless of how you blend it.

I have very pale skin as well which also means, for me that I have very sensitive skin and a lot to cover up! I searched long and hard for foundations that would not only match my skin but not cause addtional problems like break outs, clumping and what I called flaky! The best product by far is Bare Essentials, it's not cheap but you can create the perfect tint for your skin by combing more than one color, plus it is very light you don't feel it all over your face and it is surprisingly durable even when moisture gets to your face. Going a tad darker than what your skin truly is also helps, just don't forget to apply some down your neck so you down get a line on your chin!

Same problem, and the best match I've found is Aveda - they have a really good pale foundation for milky-white people like me and you. Shiseido also have a nice porcelain one, although I don't like the texture so much. Happy shopping!

Go do a department store, and have someone do a color match on your skin which will help you find a shade that works well for you. It doesn't take long and they are usually happy to do this for you. Plus you can sometimes pick up some great make-up tips from the "pros" who work at these counters. Good luck.

Try No 7 tinted moisturiser. It comes in some very light shades and is not too heavy like normal foundation. It gives great coverage and is much better for your skin

[Maybelline dream matte mousse is a great one! But if you have a dry skin then maybe this brand isn't for you] And you can top this off using some bronzing powder, which you can buy from any cosmetic department! This should work, however it may look a bit odd if you just add colour to your face and not the rest of your body [assuming that too, is pale] So i'd also recommend you use fake tan - i have one it's 'Nivea Body - Sunkissed Skin' it's amazing and great value for money! I think you can get 3 shades but i reckon you should go for the lightest one - 'fair to medium' then it won't give you such a drastic, unrealistic tan! Just apply in all visible areas on your body and your skin will look sensational!
Hope i've helped, Gud Luck xx
