writes:Hi, erm, well im 17 years old and ive been sexually active for just over 6 months. ive always used a condom, im on the pill and ive only had one sexual partner, who told me i was his only sexual partner too. recently ive started getting a lot of discharge. ive always had some, but its turned into like a yellowy colour, and it smells weird. i have to wash myself properly with soap and water every time i go to the toilet and change my underwear other wise i can smell it myself! (sorry to sound vile) my wee has become hot and im getting a lot of stomach cramps. i know im not pregnant, as im always safe although im beginning to think there could actually be something wrong! what could this be? i dont think its normal, is it? could my boyfriend be lying about his past and he has given me something? i dont want to believe that, but im concerned. thanks!

 You need to go to the doctor. It could just be a yeast infection, or it could be an STD like Clamydia. I'm not a doctor but it sounds like that could be what you are explaining. Now dont freak out because that is treatable. Ive had it once before, with my first boyfriend, I was actually about ur age. But if you havent had unprotected sex then the changes that yo have and STD or STI are very slim. But do go to your doctor and have it looked at okay? And the worst thing you can do is scare yourself that its something awful, so just keep positive. Good luck honey.
