I dont think i am that bad looking, and girls talk to me alot, but i have a hard time asking the ones i really like out.... What can i do to change this?

Try to make an easier approach around it. Say little things to clue the girl in that you like her.
Like "your hair looks good today.." etc.
And you can try the simple approach of asking one out to a movie that they said they want to see, but do it in a friend like manner if its more comfortable.
"I really want to see that!" Girl
"Hey, I was planning to go Friday, want to go with me?" then grab something to eat afterwards so you can discuss the movie and possibly other things you have in common.
Everyone is scared of rejection. it is what makes you human.
try somethings out.
good luck!
and if you want to ask anything you can message me.
