AskEve agony auntYou're not interested in the relationship you're in because you're interested in someone else...simple! It's not fair on the girl you're with so I would finish with her and let her find someone who does have true feelings for her rather than go out with her, knowing you fancy someone else.

Regarding helping your friend get with this girl you like... I would take a back seat there, let him get on with it, you're only beating yourself up doing that. Stay clear of relationships for the time being and focus on something else for now. You're really not ready to be involved with anyone just now.
