Yes talk to your mum. It may be she is being cautious or she may know it has already started. I am so lucky that i grew up in a very opem minded household and actually told my dad first (25+ years ago mind!) but its not always so easy discussing these things. Your mum is probably waiting to hear from you first and will be very supportive I am sure. She has shown that by including sanitary protection in your going away kit.
If however you cannot for any reason then leave her a note saying thanks mum for including the towels they will come in handy now, then she will know. Have a good trip x

Someone has to empty the waste baskets in any house, and it's usually Mum. There are all kinds of interesting secrets hidden inside the rubbish.
I'm sure she knows, and has respected your right to keep it to yourself; she's just found a very subtle way of telling you she knows and is happy to keep it a secret with you.
She sounds like a very caring and considerate mum indeed. Have fun on your trip!

Well, she may be putting them in just in case, or she may be using that finely tuned craft of Mothers - intuition. You'd be surprised how much Mother's actually know... you think you've left them in the dark but they're usually a couple of steps ahead!
Your Mom clearly loves you and has all the bases covered. No reason why you can't tell your Mom about your period!! She gets it too, remember and may be fun to talk and relate to!
Have fun on your trip, sweetness!

starting your period is a big change. i think you should just tell your mum that you have started your period and she will understand she was your age once and out of any other people she will. she's your mum and you should always be able to tell your mum any thing. hope this helps.

Hi there I don't know whether your mum knows that you have started your period but I am sure it's about that time and she's most probably guessed sometimes when your on your period you can be moody and that's how she's most probably guessed just tell her that you have started them she won't be shocked every women goes through this stage and there's nothing wrong with it.
Yours Sincerely
