I know that it will grow back, but my question is this, is there any particular reason why my hair would be coming out? I'm not on chemo and I don't have cancer. Thanks in advance. GOODLUCK

I'm not jealous or anything, I've never seen her pic, but if you would, please send your comments to her via her mail. Thanks.

I also lost weight by working out more, and am now down to 140 lbs., but I keep staying at 140. I had my thyroid checked some months ago (a full panel was done); they said the numbers were fine. The hair does come out in strands.
I take a vitamin, but not everyday, and the food is limited in our fridge. We have eggs, bread, cheese, and burritos. Not really much of a selection. I am thinking about applying for food stamps.
Thanks for the input.

Oh Eyes, I SO miss it!!! I have clovers all over my lawn right now, but no gorgeous, wise blond as the face of Irish49! Sadness...
In regards to your question, there are tons of reasons your hair could be falling out. Now some hair loss is normal, but otherwise it could be due to stress, diet change, or may indicate a serious health issue. Time for a check up, sweetness!!

My friend had something similar and was diagnosed with Celiac disease. Basically to remedy this I believe you would need to start a gluten-free diet, but please go to your doctor to have them properly check you out and diagnose you.

If its coming out in clumps then it could be alopecia, if its coming out in strands then it could be hormonal. Go to see a doctor, there are products such as 'regain' which may be able to help. X

Hi there,
alot of things can cause hair to fall out, stress tension, diet, a variety of factors!
have you tried taking vitamins?
and maybe you should try massaging hair oil onto your hair 24 hours before you wash it... massage is nice for the hair and this is very effective as most hair oils contain natural herbs to strengthen hair!
try it!
good luck!

hair loss can be caused by serious health problems. It's important you get this checked out. It can also be caused by malnourishment so make sure you're eating properly.

Illness, bad health, low weight?
This is a question you should ask a doctor. And cancer does not cause hairloss, the treatmant for cancer does.
