My period started when i was playing cricket, white trousers you get the picture, told the boy that i had torn my stiches open (they bought it) and my mum took me home regaling me of stories about 2 inch thick pads and her "period party" enjoy

I know it's annoying but the only way to tell her is by being straight forward. I know how you feel, when i got my first period i didn't know how to say it. A week later i plucked up the courage to tell her. You've just got to say "mum can i have a pad, i just got my period." She will be so happy she has a little woman as a daughter now.
Good Luck!!

I was terrified to tell her because to me it ment I was growing up and I thought it would change how she looked at me. It didn't. How I told her was I asked for a pad cuz I had started my period. She just smiled at me a gave me one. Just take a deep breath and tell her. Get it over with because trust me it you'll be so relieved when she finally knows.

go talk to your Mum huni Im sure you will find comfort and support and she will also realise may be your not her baby anymore but a young woman trying her best to be...
Any lady who knows her daughter has experienced such, will give your all the guidance from here on in that you need with additional related topics that must be addressed, which may be have been already...
If not, theyre is so much you need to learn from your Mum... Why cant you approach her, I think youll find her totally understanding.
Its not a cringing matter, it needs to be fully explained and understood, your Mum may be knows half and half that it has been on approach for quite sometime, she will help you buy the correct products, and in some respects treat you slightly different, not as an excuse to get away with what you shouldn't...Its just different, n Im sure after a chat, you will understand what I mean.

Your mum won't say, "Eww" or anything. You just tell her when your on your own. It's nothing to be embarrased about x
