my best advice would be (and i know you dont want to hear this...) go to your mom, or another person you are close to. They wont judge you, and im sure your mom wont be mad after she figures out.
Dont let it get out of control, you may end up in a worse situation than you are already in. If worse comes to worse, go to the tore and buy your own tampons or pads.

If you were my child I would be so upset that you had not mentioned this to me as its a hard time for a young adult to go through alone, My daughter is ten and her periods will start soon and we have discused this and she knows all that will happen to her body.
Dont cringe it natural just do it, Hunny there will be so much more in life to face you may as well just tell her.
If you need to chat ive had 3 kids 2 boys who used to pass me my tampons at 7, I brought them up to no what was going on with women, As when they are older they need to no the deal... Hope this helps TAKE CARE LOVE MANDY xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello :]
There is absolutely no need to worry about telling your mum! Just tell her privately, she's most probably expecting you to tell her soon anyway :]
Every girl has their first period, your mum went through it too, she'll help, you're not alone :]

i had exactly the same problem.
you may find it embaressing as i did, but i asure you if you simply go to your mum and say "ive started my period" she will be fine.
she wont make you talk about it.
mums are made to be understanding..i promise she will be.
or if you find it that hard still,
write a note.
that way you dont have to say it to her face.
hope i helped :)
