I'm quite confused.

I'm supposed to be on my period, but the blood is like really light brown and not even blood really and there is hardly any. Should I just count this as my period?

I have extremely bad lower back pain and stomach aches which I've had for about a week but I just want to make sure that this couldn't be an infection or anything. I know it's a silly question but I've never had a period like this one before.

RitzaD. agony auntMake an appointment immediatly. A regular flow weather heavy or not is always suppose to be red. Once its a different color its a sign of an infection, or something is up. U can't let time pass, don't harm urself, and u can not count that as ur period. Let us know how it goes.

I know this because my sis was the same way, not just her blood, but after her "period" even her pee or discharge would come out brown. Its a symptom, and well a sign. So go check urself please.

Good luck! Hope everything goes well.

Artistry agony auntHi, I have no idea what your problem could be, but this is what I suggest. As soon as day breaks and the office is open , I would make an appointment with my gyn, to see if there is a problem which could be corrected, or if you need an anti-biotic for a possible infection. Whatever it is, a week is too long to go around guessing, it could be minor, but whatever it is, it does not seem to be normal. Get yourself quickly to your doctor and have a diagnois. Take care and let us know how you make out. This is a part of being your very own best friend, You have to take care of you :o). Be good to yourself.
