Problem is while we flirt and stuff we aren't very much alike she hangs out with a lot of people and I am a pretty shy guy. Besides working with her the other complication is she has been talking to this guy thinking about dating him he is married and has two kids with a third on the way supposedly he is looking into getting a divorce but even though I'm an older guy I've never dated anyone so this situation has me a bit intimidated and puzzled about what I should do?Any advice or just insight into this situation would be greatly appreciated.

 There's no reason why you shouldnt tell her how you feel - the worst outcome is that she says no and you have to just get over it, and best outcome is she says yes and then you go out on a date!
You will never get anywhere if you dont try, so be brave and ask her out. If she says no, well you have not lost anything have you?
