I have not changed my eating habbits and I eat fairly healthily without starving myself which i know causes the body to store fat. I go on long walks daily and run occassionally, but all of the sudden i've put on this weight. At the same time however my metabolism has increased. I'm pretty sure i have not gained muscle, grown taller, and i am not pregnant or anything like that. So does anyone know of anything that could possibly be causing me to gain this weight?

You've probably recently stopped growing. When this happens you put on weight a lot easier than before. You say your metabolism has speeded up recently- how do you know that? As you get older your metabolism naturally slows down and this also contributes to weight gain. Or you could just be filling out, especially if you were quite skinny during your teenaged years.

Have you ben doing anything new? I am meaning work or extra projects, doing things of that sort? sometimes added projects add stress to your life and stress will make you gain weight as well. try to take a day out of your life to do what makes u happy and relaxed. see what happens.

It might be that you've just stopped growing/changing and now that your body doesn't need all that energy for developing anymore it turns to excess energy (fat).
By the way, how do you know that your metabolism has increased?
