 Firstly forget about this new lad at the moment and concentrate on your current relationship. You need to make a decision on whether you want to work at the relationship or whether it is time to call it a day. If you decide that the relationship is no longer viable then you need to end it before you start anything new. In terms of the threat made, do not take it seriously as people say things like that to intimidate you and others. I suggest that you think hard about your current relationship and whatever you do don't cheat on your current fella as this will make the situation 100 x more difficult.
