Hi there. If you say it is not your labia, well then you would know by if that same piece of skin continues all the way back to your clitoris.
If it's a piece of skin not part of the long flap of skin, which is on both sides, well it could be a part of the vagina itself which is right at the opening. This is quite normal.
To be sure though, see your family doctor to diagnose it properly for you.
Unless there is any itching, soreness, lumps on the skin etc., no discharge from the vagina, it's probably nothing to worry about at all.
But still to put your mind at rest, check it out with your family doctor anyway. Otherwise all you are doing is worrying for nothing, when it's most likely harmless.
