If you did that then you'd know for sure whether or not this was your period or and wouldn't have to worry.

Any disruption can sometimes lead to spotting especially if you are near your period, if I have sex near mine I spot and end up having my period early. If it is your first time it is normal to spot a little (i think i actually bled quite a lot initially or so it seemed at the time) but if it continues you should see a doctor or nurse just to be on the safe side oh and dont forget the condoms x x

You should definitely visit you gynecologist since spotting between periods is not normal and if you are spotting without ever having a period something could be wrong in there or your hormones could be playing a trick on you. In any case, getting a check up and STI testing should be your next steps. Best of lucks!

If it's just spotting, chances are, there was slight taring, seeing as it was your first time. It's not unusual, and common in girls for their first time, HOWEVER, if you feel concerned about it, you MUST see an OBGYN. While you're there, let that obgyn know you are sexually active and discuss methods of birth control-CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH!

Are you bleeding a lot or just spotting? Is it time for your menstruation? Was it your first time? Do you usually bleed? Really need more info!
