 I think flirting is the safest sex there is, but it's difficult to do it when you are female. If it's mutual flirting with no intention of straying, it can put a glow on your cheeks and be a real ego boost. But, if you don't know the guy well, and he crosses the line and takes your seriously, well, that's a problem. And like BigSis said - jealous boyfriends aren't very fond of girlfriends who flirt. Problems? It can lead to fist fights and guys grabbing you. You need to know where to draw the line and set boundaries. Anything that is a bit risque and has a sexual double-meaning is probably pushing the envelope a bit. ALSO - don't engage in flirting when the guy's girlfriend is around - they get jealous too. Try to take everyone else's feelings into consideration if you are flirting and put yourself in their shoes. If the flirting is stomping on someone else's feelings - you've crossed the line.

No...it's not all that bad ~ we all love to flirt {well i do, anyway} as long you don't take that flirting too far, and don't do it to lead guys on. Otherwise you'll be called a p***k teaser, then it could get nasty.
Messing about and joking is fine, providing you know the guys well, and they know you. Just a word of advice...if it upsets your boyfriend... then don't do it.
